I know that you can tether with a 3GS to a computer, but can you tether from a 3GS to an iPod touch 2G?

If so, what about a 3G to an iPod touch 2G?

(If somebody could explain tethering to me a little better, that would be great.

Tethering is using your phone as a sort of "aircard". I do not believe you can tether between two iDevices. That is only me of course, and I might be wrong of course.

You can't tether from an iPhone to an iPod.

You COULD, theoretically, tether your iPhone to a laptop and then share the laptop's connection over WiFi, I think.

Yes, you can. My friend uses his when he is on the road, and he is getting a better connection tethering with his iPhone than he is with an AT&T 3G Aircard thing, I mean come on.......
