    Hello,

I have searched on this topic, but all threads seem to be out of date. I currently have a samsung rugby that I can tether to my pc through bluetooth. Is there anyway that I could tether a jailbroken 2g or 3g ipod touch to my phone through bluetooth? I already am aware of people using smartphones with wifi to do this, but have not heard of any successful attempts at this using bluetooth.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

iBluetooth only supports File Transfer and as of now I believe it's only compatible with the iPhone 2G and 3G

I have seen people tether via bluetooth on iphones. Are the bluetooth chips in both devices similar or the same?

I looked it up and both use the same broadcom chip. This makes me think that this is definitely possible if someone develops the software.
