can anyone explain how a bootrom exploit can be tethered ?
as far as i know, they shouldn't be because nothing can signature check the bootrom, which is why Pwanage and 24kpwn are both untethered

There's been no info released on whether its tethered or untethered. But there is such thing as a tethered bootrom exploit.

24kpwn was Tethered , then semi-tethered and then untethered.

It is possible. It is just a bootrom exploit. With the help of the exploit its possible to write a code to prevent some checks and stuff. But the devs have to build something like that, if they cant for some reasons, its a tethered JB .. so short and in fact, just haveing a bootrom exploit does not mean it has to be a untethered JB from begining.
