Hey, my dad has a windows computer with a cellular card. I have an ipod touch and was wondering if it was possible to tether it to the computer so I too could use the internet over long car rides etc. Is this possible? Would I have to jail break my ipod to do this? Would you have to buy anything to make it work? Thanks for any input.

Does it have Windows 7? If so, download the software Connectify which will create an access point via wi-fi your ipod can use.

Otherwise, look up how to make an ad-hoc network.
