So I was making this spinoff of the Pusher.app made by RiPDev. I call it iButton. It does basically the same thing, but I need someone to test it, because I can't. Not that I don't want to; I CAN'T. Screenshot of first page attached. It is made for MAC.

    -------------------

    I need to see if:

    * It detects an iPod Touch. UNKNOWN

    * It detects an iPod Touch 2G. NOT ACCOMPLSIHED

    * If it doesn't alter the boot logo (s5l8900x AND s5l8720x devices). UNKNOWN

    * If the ramdisk that I made actually works. It is the modified QuickPwn/Pusher ramdisk. It should add Cydia, no custom logo, and jailbreak the same way Pusher would. If it jailbreaks an s5l8900x device, then the ramdisk is not corrupt. UNKNOWN

    * If it jailbreaks an iPod Touch (1G) as opposed to the iPhone, which it was built for. UNKNOWN

    * If it can jailbreak s5l8720x. If it passes (successfully runs, installs Cydia, leaves boot logo alone, successfully boots). If this passes, it will be QuickPwn for ipt2g!!! UNKNOWN
    -------------------

    EDIT: Differences from Pusher:

    * Possibly supports iPod Touches (maybe even 2G

    )...

    * Possibly doesn't make you have a stupid RiPDev boot logo...

    * Installs Cydia instead of Installer, but not both.

    * Looks cooler, imo

Please, experienced users only. It is impossible to brick the device, but I have NO IDEA what it will do. I am not reliable for any damage caused to the device from testing: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Possible iPod Touch (maybe 2G) support. I just need to find out if it works...

Well I modified it to install Cydia instead of Installer, plus the "without jailbreaking" part is still technically jailbreaking, just at a kinda higher level that "Doesn't compromise your security" lol

It requires only the iBSS, WTF, and Kernel patches, as opposed to the enitre shazam that other tools use.

lol plz do not congratz me. I only tried. ramdisk might fail, and ipt2g support is bound not to work. that's why i anted the pusher ramdisk so I could just edit that instead of making one that Pusher might not even accept, but it can't be THAT different from QuickPwn.

heck, it might not even detect the touch (only iphone). can you test to see if ibutton will even recognize your touch? not jailbreak or anything, tho.

Hahaha I'm iffy about this. I would love to be a tester but all the consequences of it weigh it down.

Just back up. DFU Restore would rescue you, no matter what. I thik maybr even recovery mode works. Just the ramdisk + filesystem is an issue. Can you check if it detects your iPod, but not actaully jailbreak it with this tool?

I could do that if you could upload it to a different site possibly? For some reason I've always had problems downloading from [PIRACY.mu].
