What should I do? I'm currently on 4.0, and yes, I am using multitasking and backgrounds, but even before I edited the plist to make it do these things, the battery was still bad. I'm thinking, that maybe I should restore back to 3.1.3 or edit the plist to remove backgrounds and multitasking (even though it still drains battery without it). What do you guys think?

hey dude i have the same thing as u but i think u have an mb model and yes i have an mc and i enabled battery percent to keep track of my battery and i have all of the ios 4 3g ipod touch features enabled (except accessebility) and my battery seems to be fine and i think it lasted longer before i jailbroken it but if you keep having this problem u should restore but the 2g ipods have a much longer battery life than 3g ipods so i think you should disable sbsettings or activator on cydia (if u have any add-ons) because my battery lasts 40% longer without all the add-ons and it seems to speed up my ipod and have a longer battery life. (it also matters how often you use your ipod because when i first got mine i used to drain my battery in a few hours of playing games)

    1) iOS 4 naturally causes fast loss of battery life
    2) Turn off wifi when you're not using it, and disable push notifications, because wifi is persistent

Also, keep your brightness low when you don't need it high (auto brightness).

    No, Multifl0w drains even more.
