terminal

    what exactly can I do with the terminal app?
    are there any commands that I can find useful?

    if you dont know what to do with it, don't mess with it. Only use it when you need it and know what your doing

    Terminal on the iPod is the same as it is on mac, useless to anyone who doesn't know how to use it. Read up on it before you try to mess about with it

    Terminal can be used to install deb files, as well as many other things. I don't think you should mess with it.

    Ifile can now be use to install debs so unless you know about terminal you don't need it

    Well you can install packages with it. Which I just made a tutorial on.

    Unix users know lots about terminal, if you want to learn some commands dual boot a linux os on your computer, I run windows 7 and ubuntu 9.10
