Terminal help

    How do i change the directory from /var/mobile?

    when you open terminal, its in /var/nobile. I need to get to /usr

    cd /relative/or/absolute/path/to/new/directory

    cd ../../usr

    The 'cd' command changes the directory. The '..' is used to go up a directory. Hope this helps.

    this does not pertain to the issue but why does my terminal app close once I open it up every single time??? it doesn't stay open.

    @d3xterity - If you are running 4.0 then MobileTerminal will not work because it has not been updated for the new firmware yet.
