Hi I was wondering what the Terminal Commands for lock/sleep, Respring, SafeMode, ShutDown, Restart, and HardRestart (power and home button). This is for the iPhone Terminal.

"respring" used to work but not anymore (not for me)
    "killall SpringBoard" resprings
    "reboot" reboots

but just try codes like "sleep" or "lock" not sure if it works but thats how i found out respring and reboot

Your device starts out with a few basic UNIX utilities, and you can install more in Cydia (or via the apt command line interface).

Take a look in /usr/bin, or in other directories in your $PATH. Note: "experimenting" can be dangerous, because you are root. Don't run any programs unless you know what they do.

I don't know of any publicly available command line utilities that lock the screen, but it would be very easy to write one. Also, you could run cycript, tell it to hook into the SpringBoard process, and you can wreak havoc from there.

I know how it works and that there are many commands. He is asking about respring, reboot, shutdown, those kind of commands. So I told him some that I use.

I didn't mean to come across as condescending; I just meant that typing in random commands is not the way to go.
