    Hi there.

I use term to change my mac address so I can access the college wireless. This morning it stopped allowing me to run my perl script to change it.

It said permission denied. I checked the logged in users ("users") and it showed me as logged in as mobile. Beforehand I used to have to enter the root pass but now it just auto logs me in.

I have tried su root, but it then doesnt accept the pass for some reason.

    any ideas?

When typing in password, type the wrong password.
Then you can type in login. (Write "root")
