    is it possible to use a different connection like say i'm at a starbucks 100 miles away from home and use the starbucks wifi will i be able to connect to my home pc? If not is there any vnc app that can?

    No, you can only connect to home PC's from far away on EDGE or 3G. Not other WiFi networks.

    This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Of cource you can as long as the wifi has an internet connection.

    actually u cant. i just tried it and it doesnt work. Are they gona make an update that lets you do it?

    Thats funny because it works for me. Via my works wifi, I can connect to my home pc.

    EDIT:
    BTW, I am using the paid version if that make any difference.

    i tried it and it still doesnt work i get connection error connection timed out on a different network but on my home network it works

    Are you tring to connect to your private IP ex. 192.168.1.2 form the outside?

    you need to type in the ip from tightvnc onto dyndns
