I know exactly how you feel. I'm in the NFL and people that play Madden just piss me the hell off. People actually think they're a real football player just because they can press buttons on a plastic controller.

Come on man, its just a game. I'm a musician as well and if you could get past your problems with messing around on a plastic controller (or plastic drums) you could actually have a fun time, just the same way you are having a fun time tapping on your iphone's screen.

Honestly I'm not trying to argue whether or not you are right, because I disagree so much that I don't care to argue it with you. But you should know that if you are having fun with Tap Tap you would likely have a blast with games such as Guitar Hero Metallica.

Just remember, it's just a game.

EA does NOT develop the Rock Band games, it doesn't even publish it!
Harmonix develops them, MTV Games publishes them and EA simply DISTRIBUTES them.

    EDIT:
Correction, EA does in fact publish some of the games, but not Rock Band 2, I'm not sure about the iPhone version.

I remember that it is a game. It just annoys me that some people don't remember it. That's my main problem with guitar hero type games. Just like you and your Madden example ;)

And I have tried guitar hero before and let's just say I can't seem to have any fun with it because it just doesn't feel right for me and I am not judging those who enjoy it, just saying learn to know when you are ACTUALLY playing an instrument and when you are just messing around with a plastic controller. You know what I am talking about: The kind of people who play guitar hero and say that they can "play a certain song by a certain artist" (There's a South Park episode that points out what i am saying it's called "Guitar Queer-o" check it out for some laughs ;) )
I have a blast with tap tap because it is completely unreal. It's not a game pretending to be an instrument, It's just beats and little balls you have to match with the song's rhythm and that makes it enjoyable for me..Except for the extreme level it feels so random doesn't it?
