First of the reason why i am taking my ipod to the apple store is because my faulty charger over loaded my ipods battery. I want to set up an appointment at the apple store so they can diagnose and fix my ipod. The problem is that i have it jail-broken and when you start up the ipod it shows johnny cash flipping the bird and a custom slider. The ipod has *removed* and some questionable music on it

. I am wondering if they will do anything thing about all of this. The ipod does not turn on because the battery is dead do they have a way to turn it on even though the battery is dead?

If you can, restore before taking it in.

It won't turn on no matter what, connecting it to the computer does nothing.

wait, so your charger overloaded the battery? It gave alot more electricity than needed, correct?

well if you cant access it then Apple cant, there is no external software to see if the ipod is jailbroken.

I remember reading somewhere that apple can "hotwire" your iPod to an external battery source that can turn it on, and the boot logo is changed, so upon first inspection, it'll be reallllyyyy obvious that it's jailbroken.

But, what I read is most likely BS.

Also. you should remove the "I" word, unless you would like to wait for the infractomallet to do it for you.
