I am really sorry if people allready knew this, but i have had 4 ipod touches, 2 first gen and 2 2nd gen, i dont consider myself an amature user, ive jailborken and all that glory... and i didnt even know this......

On the 2nd gen, not sure about the first gen, dont own them anymore, but....

If you hold the home and sleep button for like 2 secongs, just long enough before the the slide to power off screen pops up and then let go.....

IT TAKES A SCREEN SHOT!!!!!!!!!!! you can hear is make the photo sound just like the iphone..... and it saves is in your saved photos!!!!

    had no clue.... seriously....

again im really sorry if we allready knew this, but like i mentioned, ive been around for a while, and i had no clue....

OT: you can take fotos on an iPod t. 1.st gen. too.
you need firmware 2.x.x (or newer, but there isn't a fw 3.x.x (not yet

This is the reason people should search before they post.

If you're about to post about some amazing feature you've just discovered, search a little for it first just to check.
You did know what you were posting.

Also, from your post count it's pretty clear you haven't actually been -here- since you registered, so don't use that as an excuse.
    ------------------double post merged------------------
Sorry for double-posting, but to clarify:

    No, he didn't.
Are you saying he didn't know, when he made this thread, what he was going to tell us?
No. He knew full well what he was about to post, and it would have taken just seconds to do a quick search in advance.
