The main forum page isn't working very well with tabs. I'm on a mac running the latest version of Safari and when I control click on the most recent thread in a section it opens in a new tab and the current tab. This may not sound like a big deal (and it isn't life threatening by any means) but it can be very annoying when you're on satellite internet like I am.

Is anyone else having this problem?

EDIT: I only have this problem on the main forum page and not in any subforums

I have also been having that issue. I'm on and inspiron 1525 on vista. Not a big issue at all to me. Only happens maybe once a day, kinda weird.

It happens to me every time I try to open a tab. It uses more bandwidth than I would like (we have a limit) Thats the reason I open threads in tabs to start with. I hope this problem gets solved but I'll live if it doesn't. Thank you bgizzle for looking into this problem.

Thanks for trying. Do you think clearing the cookies would help?

I don't see how it would but it's worth a try. Also try disabling third-party browser extensions.

It happens in Firefox 3.6.3, Safari 4.0.4, Chrome 5.0.342.9, and Opera 10.52b on Mac OS X 10.6.2 running on a MacBook Pro.

For me, it happens when Command+Clicking on any link such as the ones below:

Not really important, as I right click more.
