hi! i recently got an ipod touch for my friend. i want to put music and videos on the ipod for her but i was wondering if she wanted to use her own computer to add music and videos will it let her?

cause i know that it will delete everything i put and replace it with everything she wants to add.

is there a way around this?

copy the files from the ipod to her computer first, then add them to the itunes libary and then sync. just google for a program

If you set the ipod to manual sync, you can add the songs and stuff you want to. Then when your friend plugs it into her computer, she can click and drag any songs she wants onto the ipod and keep the original content.

Thats how I get around the problem atleast.

No, just select the manual sync checkbox for her iPod in iTunes.
