syncing songs without itunes?

    i was wondering is it possible to sync songs to my ipod without using itunes? can i use windows media player, ect? what if i emailed the songs to my ipod inbox, could i save the song from the email? i tried emailing a song onto my ipod but the ipod must not support wmv files. if there is another way to put songs on it please help me out

    You could use windows media player, but not to sync apps. Or you could try using a program such as sharepod to transfer music. You will need iTunes however, in order to set up your iPod

    You can use Windows Media Player, there are other alternatives, like doubleTwist. But like Natesterizer611 said, you could only sync apps with iTunes.

    K thanks, can I email the songs onto my iPod if they are a supported format?

    I think you can, but I don't think you can play them on the normal Music app, you will need to get a media player (like dTunes, I think) that can access media files in your system folders.
