    Hey, everyone

    I'm having trouble with iTunes....

So I wanted to sync some of my music to my iPod Touch, right? But for some reason, it disconnected my iPod, reconnected, and set it up as a new iPod!!

Now, if I want to sync the new songs, I'd have to RESELECT and REINSTALL all of my apps, which would make me lose all of my game data!!

Is there anyway I can sync just the music and not have iTunes mess with the apps section????? I tried CopyTrans, but I don't like it.

    PLEASE HELP!!!!

i dont think there is a way to do it with a normal itunes, it wants to erase your ipod and sync it to its own library completely.if you have open ssh or any other way of browsing your ipod you can backup your app folders (somewhere in /var/mobile/Applications) then you can copy them back over and this should keep your game data.

Right-click your iPod on the left and select restore from backup.
