Alright I hate iTunes. I use linux and I have to run a virtual machine of XP just for syncing with iTunes. I am a pretty experienced linux user, and I've messed around with the terminal app on my jailbroken touch. I also have noticed that all of my music is on a seperate partition than the base os and apps. Now that I've found out how my touch works, I want to sync it up with my linux box with something besides itunes. So here are some questions I have:

-Are there music app alternatives that arent dependant of itunes?
-Can I mount the bigger media partition in the base os? (To ssh music to my touch)
-Has anyone ever done the following sucessfully, or am I on a crazy adventure?
