SynchStep 2.0.1 Tutorial w/ pix

    for all of you who in previous firmwares who could not get synchstep set up, the new 2.0 version it 99999x easier.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Go to Cydia and install SynchStep.
    2. Go to http://www.synchstep.com/ and download SynchStep Prep.
    3. Extract files.
    4. Run Setup.
    5. Run SynchStep Prep
    6. Copy about 50 songs into the SynchStep playlist.
    7. Wait for the songs to be tagged. (takes awhile)
    8. YAY!!! you can dance to your happy tunes.

    nudes? this only work with BPM or something?

    I downloaded this and the amount of time it took to 'tag' the songs was a joke. I done about 10 and deleted it.

    thanks for the write-up! glad you found this process easier than the previous. i'm working to make it more streamlined, faster, and less of a hassle. i only get to work on stuff after-hours though, so updates are a little slower than i'd like. =\

    heh. it'll analyze about 8 songs a minute on any moderately fast machine. 50 songs takes around 6 minutes. sorry if that's too long for you to wait. not to mention that it's more accurate than anything out there.

    yes, i will optimize synchstep prep in the future, and it will be more than 10x faster (i'm coding this up right now).

    but hey, i'm busy writing synchstep, synchstep prep for mac and windows, and a bpm analysis algorithm. all at the same time.

    oh, and did i mention all this is free? it's a side project i do on top of my full-time job. just try to keep that in mind when you're writing about my work, please.
