synching with ubuntu?

    ok so i got a new laptop with only ubuntu as the operating system and i want to synch my ipod with it is there any way other than to do it wirelessly?

    no. Although you only need to sync once; then you can just use the app store and itunes to aquire more content. The only problem is adding more music after the inital sync.

    Edit: Actually now I remember that after the inital sync, if you are able to jailbreak your ipod touch, you can set up sshfs and mount the ipod onto your desktop and transfer music that way

    Unfortunately, there is no jailbreak for the 2nd gen ipod touch
