err.. what do I miss ... my IPodT is successfully unlocked (it was quite easy, thanks to all here!) ... but I still do have my old itunes, without an option to sync notes.

I do certainly look stupid ;-) I know.

Another problem I have: My installer app shows only a few apps to install. I do miss there quite a lot of apps you guys are talking about. Any idea?

Yes, I am too, interested in knowing how I can sync. or transfer my existing notes to the touch. Is there a path to a folder/directory where I can transfer files to?

    Thanks
    Jeff

i dont think there is a way to do that, but there is a nice text editor in installer.app. it allows you to choose where you want to save waht type of file and then you can use MobileFinder to email it to yourself. or you could SSH yourself the file. lots of options.

I think JEFFY wants to go the other way. He wants to edit a text file on his computer and then sftp it to the IpT for viewing.

    I think...

    actually me too.

plus, I have quite a lot of notes in my outlook and since IpodT nicely syncs calendar and contacts, why not notes?

I`ve heard somewhere that there is a tool that converts text into Iphone using the notes file format. Unfortunately, can`t find the source anymore.
