its the same directory (almost) as any other ipod. you have to dig a little.

i found it. SSH in and go to:

    /private/var/root/Media/iTunes_Control/Music/

Copy those folders (F00, F01, etc.) to a new folder in your "Music" folder on your computer. Open the first file, select all, and DRAG them into iTunes. Don't try to "Add Folder". It doesn't work.

Everything will have weird names, but iTunes fixes it.

It should work. I know it does on older iPods.

+rep if i helped you please!!

you're sshing into you're ipod touch via USB? impressive

If you are using something like WINSCP to log into your ipod you are doing it via a wireless connection through your router and not through USB

And if you don't beleive me.. unplug your USB and try to login... it will still work

i wish! i found it on Brill301's website. Google him and look at the bottom of his page.

Im pretty sure its the fight scene from the Matrix or Matrix Reloaded.

i should try that....easier than having a cable plugged in all the time. I use Core FTP LE- no else uses it I don't think. Im probably gonna get WinSCP.
