Sync In Progress... 2 Hours and Still Going?

    I just got a new 3rd gen iPod Touch 32gb. I'm trying to add apps from itunes but the "Sync in Progress" screen has been going for 2 hours now. Is this normal? I have all 11 app pages filled (Yes, I'm an iPod Touch n00b). I'm tempted to "slide to cancel" to see if it's frozen or not, but I don't want to start all over again. I've been reading online and I've read that itunes may seem frozen but it isn't.

    If you go to iTunes, theres an arrow on the left side of the progress bar. Click it until it shows you the progress of the sync. If not, then just cancel and try again, you won't hurt your iPod by cancelling a sync.
