If apple implemented swype on their iPhone. I would go back to iOS in a heartbeat.

When you're using the Swype keyboard as a normal keyboard (when you're not sliding your finger, just tapping the keys), it doesn't work too well.
I type at a speed where it registers my first tap as the beginning of the line and my second as the end of the line. So by the time I finish typing a sentence, it's a jumbled mess.
At least that's what I get out of this experience.
I got the Gingerbread keyboard from the Market. Swype is just a novelty to me.

True, Swype sucks ass at anything but Swyping.

Honestly, I've fallen for the Flext9 keyboard. it's everything and more.

I love swype. It's my favorite keyboard, I have made at most 3 mistakes, a day. It's always been accurate for me.

I love swype, but it sucks because i'm stuck using it. I updated my ROM and the guy removed all keyboards but the LG Keyboard... It's a sony phone :/

Why not just add back another keyboard ? They're all over the market.

Like has been stated, you can download other keyboards.
Simply type "keyboard" in the Market. Tons of options, free and paid :)

I'd rather use Swype. Unless (i've not searched) i can get the stock android keyboard.
