Installed LockDockBar from Cydia and it asked me to respring, so I did. After about 3 minutes, give or take, the ipod tried to reboot. Since then it has tried to reboot almost ten times but gotten to a point where the SWOD starts swirling over the silver pineapple logo.
Do I have to restore or can I fix this another way?

At first I was calm then I realized I have really important notes in this thing. It would be horrible if I had to restore

The notes is written down in write room, is it possible itunes has backed up the program data? Please say it has...

To get out of the spinning circle of doom simply delete the last thing you installed via SSH. If you can't use SSH, check the Applications section below for alternatives. Also try using a backup of your N45AP.plist.

Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately I have already begun my restoring and I didn't have a backup of that .plist file anyway. Hope 2.2.1 gives me a longer batterylife as I have heard it does.
