Well I am giving away my iPod Touch to my little 10 year old brother. I told him how to use it and use installer and if he needs to re jailbreak it to give it to me. But now I am getting a 16GB iPhone. So Im really happy I get it snd the camera.

However, what things will change jailbreaking wise? Will I still be able to get installer and jailbreak easily with iLiberty? Do I need to change anything? Will it stay, is there anything I need to know just incase? What big changes will I notice?

Also, I heard there is a new v2 iPhone? Will it be better, should I wait for it to be released?

    Anyways thanks for reading!!

Jailbreaking will be the same, just use iliberty and check unlock, activate and all that good stuff.

Also, I'd say forget about the 3g iphone, they're supposed to be I believe 600 for an 8gb and 700 for 16gb....

It has 3G, a faster way of transferring data. For example, using 3G will load web pages a lot faster than edge.

I would get the current model because apple probably blocked jailbreaking (i'm guessing) on the 3G model.

No, according to the dev team any firmware can be pwn'd from now on, and Installer added as an app.

That's an interesting claim. They do know they are up against the whole Apple software devs? Bold, for sure.

From what I remember, all the dev team needs to do is find a single line of code in the firmware, then they can "flash" it and iTunes will recognize any modified build of it as valid.
