When 2.0 comes out, how many of you all are planning to restore and just use AppStore and stick to the Apple way of things?

I plan to restore because even though Installer is awesome, there are just to many problems (for me at least) and i know it will be very smooth on official software.

    So what do you think?

There are already a ton of these threads.

I will be moving on to 2.0.

I am with you as far as jailbreak-related issues are concerned. I am not a fan of the strictures imposed by Apple for the development of apps, however.

There have to be at least 2-3 of these threads already.

I'll probably backup all my apps, then restore and upgrade to 2.0. If I really like it I'll stay with it and hope that a jailbreak comes out with it. If it's ok, but I decide jailbreak is better, I'll downgrade and re-jailbreak, then wait till a jailbreak comes out.

    Simple as that.

I'm probably going to stick to 1.1.4, wait for reviews to come up about 2.0, youtube videos to be uploaded, etc.

If I feel I would be getting a better experience by upgrading, I will upgrade. Otherwise, I'm sticking to 1.1.4.

But I'm definately not upgrading the day it comes out, unless it's really good.

Is there a downgrader for 2.0 already? I'm planning on buying an iPod Touch when 2.0 comes out (good idea?), but I was wondering if I downgrade and upgrade back to 2.0, would I still have the App Store?

I bet there will be a downgrader very soon after 2.0 releases.

Of course you would still have the App Store. The App Store is an application that is built into 2.0, so when you upgrade or restore to 2.0 it writes the App Store on to your iPod.

This is what im going to do...

Stick to 1.1.4 for a week... and if there isnt a free upgrade out, or a jailbreak out... im just going to it...

Since people say that its going to have like 400 Apps... and i dont mind spending money on good apps...
