I emailed SwitchEasy about reviewing one of their cases (don't know the specific case off the top of my head) and in return I would needed to be sent a "sample product" so I can actually use it/take pictures/review it.

Instead, they say that I have to buy it first, then review it and send it back "unused in the original packaging" for a refund. That makes no sense. Am I supposed to review it by looking at it inside the box?

Alot of people have done this very thing to receive free cases. So I'm sure they are just trying to make sure they don't get scammed. It does seem a little ridiculous though.

    Yeah, I'm a little disappointed.

Griffin and BodyGuardz kindly agreed to the same type of email.

They gave you cases to review? Did you have to link them to your YT page or something?

Not in my opinion. I had one and ended up giving it away and going with the Griffin Reflect which I'm much happier with. The Rebel just seemed a little too much hassle and too bulky for me. It did provide good protection, but I just didn't like it.

Why would they send you a free product?
    That's stupid.

Are you serious? Do you really think a company that PAYS for advertising and is in many many stores world wide, will give some random a free case to review? Maybe if you owned IPTF and had a dedicated review section would they consider it, but you unless it will actually bring in sales, they wont even consider it.

Im sure they get alot of emails every day of randoms asking for free cases to review.

I agree with this. If you want to review a case, just buy it, what's the deal. Some companies might not mind giving them out, but that's not an standard, by far.

Here's a hint, giving things away doesn't make you rich, and that's what companies want.

Nah they won't give you free stuff unless you're on youtube under the username "itsmemorphious"

That reminds me... I have to reapply my RebelTouch coz the home button's not lined up properly. Bet I'll ruin the rubber even more..
