Seems that once you got the "free" update, even if you pay for the official update, iTunes doesn't dowload it and you stay stuck with the unofficial 2.0. Actualy iTunes does not see the need to download a 2.0 firmware since there's already one on your hard drive. To have the right official firmware, the answer is simple : buy it. Once you do that, the dowload won't start. Stay cool, just remove the iPod1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw file from its original location. For Mac OSX user it's MyAccount/library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates. You don't need to erase it, just place it somewhere else. Now click restore, the download starts, etc. That method doesn't need a downgrade to 1.1.4 nor old iTunes. This might have been posted already but i guess the title will be more explicit to provide help. I'm still a bad ass.
