somehow my ipod touch thought it was Michael Phelps and jumped into a pail of water for a swim and gotten itself drowned. It was switched on when it got into the water and i got it out immediately. The screen was freezed and in panick, i pressed the home button and the screen went white and flashed till it completly blackened off. The panicked me pressed the on/off+home button but no reaction. i blown dry the ipod, shook off the water and placed in rice overnight (~12hrs) and plugged the usb to my laptop. Nothing came out but i heard funny sounds from the ipod so i quickly pulled it off.

    Any help or suggestion?

i asked a electronic tech friend and told me the survivial rate of it is very low
and my ipod might got burnt.

my sensor turned half pink and white too.

    =(

    thank you.

there is a trick but you must search in google cause its not allowed it here
its for how to take out the sensor of water so the apple gives you a new one

although patches of water signs could been seen through the screen
tried touching every parts, it's still working fine.
so switched if off again for another suntanning and baking session.

    so now, another problem
can the patches of water on the screen been removed?

    thanks.
