Hey every body here is my app for swapping the plug-ins for safari its easy to use only needs one press and it does the rest.

    2. Custom Internet Plug-Ins folder Download loads of different files.
    3. Has visual indicator so you know when its enabled or disabled via safari.

    5. When the plugin is disabled iphpPod does not display the disable the webplug-in alert.

Great idea! just what i needed!

I tried to install this but it wouldn't work.

I put the folders into the correct places and set the permissions to 755 recursively.

When I open the app it will only show WebPlugin enabled..get stucked with that screen for 10seconds and crash back to the springboard.

When I try to open a file in safari it would start to stream. The app does not swtich it.

Also, the visual indicators do not appear.

Basically this did nothing for me except make my safari back to streaming stuff instead of downloading stuff.

Any ideas where I might have gone wrong?

Edit: I noticed you were using 1.1.1 / 1.1.2 in the video. I'm on 1.1.3...does that matter?

Iam not sure though the normal download plugin worked for me when i was on 1.1.3 it dint work on 1.1.4 though.

it seems as if it' not renaming the Webplug-in Off file to Webplug-in On rename it manually to see if it tries to disable it.

ok i updated it i changed the location of the Webplug-in Off/On file to the SwapPlugins.app folder you can try that its in the attachments on the first post.

Set your Applications folder to -R 777 as this enables all access.

Alright it almost fully works now! Only thing not working is the green loading bar.

I looked for it in the Images folder in the swapplugins.app folder and saw that the Off.png(default blue one) said no preview available when I tried to open it..but the On.png was previewable.

I came across some post that said you had to convert .png files in a special way so that they can be edited in windows..and reconvereted so that they can be dispalyed on the ipod. Could the On.png be of a uncompatible format?

    Thanks.

The reason you need to convert the png files is so you can view and edit them they don't need to be converted back for the ipod to use them check you mobilesafari.app
and see if there is a URLProgress.png file and rename it and use the swapplugin app.

ok i fixed it you need to set the permission of the applications folder to -R 0777 and the internet plug-ins folder to -R 0777 then it works fine.

the app just does the exact same as netservices but also gives you a indicator when the plugin is enabled or disabled also its quicker to turn it off and on you just select the app basically the same as the new wifi toggle app but it disables or enables the download plugins.
