    Does anyone know what the ____ this is? I see this show up asan app in customize and also when I look in the root in winscp. Any ideas?

    yeah im not really sure either. its the new way apple is storing everything, which is annoyin as hell. i had to go in to find something. took my ages to find applications folder

    You should look up 7-Zip. It'll answer a lot of questions, I think.

    Svn stands for subversion and is a version control system used by many developers to handle different revisions of the source files. The .svn directory is created by the svn to store some metadata like where the URL to the original source code reposatory.

    Wow, you are right. Looking back, I don't know where I pulled 7-Zip from. It must have been a long night (it looks like I posted that at almost 1:30 in the morning). My bad.

    Great catch mikael.adlers. And I really have no excuse for getting this wrong, as I checkout things via svn servers all the time.
