I've heard Supreme Preferences 3.0 crashes and is buggy and stuff, so I haven't downloaded it. However, it offers some useful features and I have been wondering if there is any other way to do these things? (w/o like changing everything through SSH).

One of the most important things for me is being able to change my songs and stuff while I am in a game. On the iPod Touch, it allowed me to change my songs and stuff, but on the iPhone 3GS, it just opens the iPod app and terminates my game. Thanks in advance guys!

are you pressing the home button and then the music player comes up? if so i can help you. i dont have an ipod at the moment so its kinda hard to help you. open settings, go to supreme preferences, go to the music section i think and there should be something there that allows you to change it

Do not download SP 3.0. I had to restore to use Winterboard again.
Just use MusicControls. It pops up the player and you can exit out of pandora and it will still play

I was saying I DIDN'T want Supreme Preferences, but thanks for the help.

I will try out iPodPop and Music Controls, thanks.

So there aren't any alternatives to Supreme Preferences that are safe?
