So, I just got supreme pref. the latest version for OS 3.0 and it messed everything up for my ipod touch.

When i double tapped the home button, the ipod controls didnt come up and a whole bunch of other things screwed up for me.

Causing me to restore and rejailbreak to get rid of the damn thing.

So i was wondering, did anyone else experience this?

I had this installed on my iPhone and found that when playing music, my iPod controls didn't come up either. Probably a bug that needs to be fixed. To fix it, all you had to do was uninstall Supreme prefs. and reset your double tap preference in the normal settings.

it's not a bug you have to enable the iPod controls

settings --> supreme preferences --> mobile substrate --> Supreme Substrate --> supreme controls --> switch to on

I had the same thing happen to me! I think it was because I had the old Supreme Preferences on, and it didn't overwrite correctly...

you can always download the deb file direct: http://apt.modmyi.com/2debs/supremepreferences3.0.9.deb

ssh into iPod and copy this over to the directory var/mobile

install mobileterminal (if you don't have it already)

    load mobileterminal

    type su press return
then it will ask for a password and type the default password: alpine (no writting will appear on screen) and hit return

now type dpkg -i supremepreferences3.0.9.deb then hit return

leave the iPod for about 2 mins whilst it installs

then type killall SpringBoard hit return and within a minute you should be sent back to the springboard and now you just need to go to winterboard to enable supremeprefs.

if you have a theme enabled and wish to keep the settings icon I would suggest moving the order of your theme to be above supreme prefs in winterboard before enabling

imario the creator of Supreme Prefs removed it from Cydia because of too many bugs. He said a new version called Supreme S will be on the Cydia Store shortly.
