Summerboard... not working for me.

    i download 3.1-1 and it doesnt work! not even the icons change, or hide icon labels! the properties are indeed, 755.

    In the Summerboard sticky at the top of this forum, it seems people are deciding that the Elite Team JB isn't working with summerboard. Any Dev Team-based JB seems to work fine. Try the READ ME thread suggestions, but you may need to redo your Jailbreak.

    3.1-1 worked fine but i think dev team version isnt compatible when i did it over with elite team everything worked flawless.

    I'm on the Dev Team version, it works. Who knows anymore lol

    Too many versions. We need the One Ring To Rule Them All.

    I am running the DEV team method, and it works without fail.

    Weird, I'm using Elite Team method and SMB working.

    Stupid question, but have you rebooted your iPod?

    Also, here's a fix that might work:

    Use an SSH program to connect to your iPod, then issue the following commands:

    cd /Applications
    chmod +s SMBPrefs.app/SMBPrefs
    chown -R root:wheel SMBPrefs

    Nonetheless, it serves you lot right for sticking with a method hacked together by a third party.
