Summer Board Doesn't Work.

    It's installed but nothing works it says it inactive.... i tried uninstalling and reinstalling plenty of times as well as restarting my Ipod....

    Do you have it in the proper directory and do you have it symlinked? Permisions set to 0755?

    Alright, I had this problem and I fixed with ipodtouchmasters video.

    Search Summerboardfix 1.1.3, and its by ipodtouchmaster.

    When you do the putty, just copy and paste. If it does nothing its ok. So Just X out of it. Then follow the directions.

    Its in right directory .. i dont know what you mean by symlinked but i reset the permissions to 755

    i have summboard in /private/var/mobile/Library... but i have SMBprefs.app in /private/var/Applications

    Why is the SMBprefs.app not in the applications folder?

    its SMBprefs.app in /private/var/Applications
