Just so you know, upgrading(NOT restoring) to 4.0 GM works. I just upgraded with no errors to 4.0 GM. Using Snow Leopard 10.6.3 and iTunes 9.2. iTunes 9.2 also didn't need the SDK to backup my beta 4, so I'm happy. No restoring required at all.

Well I'll be on 4.0 once my 10.6.2 vm image finishes downloading.

Id have installed on a hackintosh but my restore always fails on it. Plus I screwed the whole laptop up and didn't feel like reinstalling os x.

The only thing I noticed new, is that double pressing the power button at the lockscreen no longer makes the screen white(flashlight).

I see almost no difference in this and 4.0 beta 4.

Because beta 4 was almost the GM? Just a few bugs to work out and it was ready for the public.
