Substitute to 'invisible shields'?

    well in school we have to cover our books with some sort of clear sticky-backed plastic. would that be ok on the ipod? or will it leave a ton of resedue on it and ruin my ipod touch/iphone? and do yo know what i mean?

    you mean sticky back plastic? i want to know this aswell. or what about sellotaping the back lool?

    yeah sticky back plastic you buy in rolls from stationers. and no way would sellotape work lol. itd be so ugly

    i tryed that on the back of mine... leaves slight residue, but i removed it just by cleaning with polish.


    Not sure if you're wanting it for a 2gen though, the beveled back might be difficult to get the plastic on right without getting "bumps" and what not

    i wouldn't advise you to cover your ipod in contact paper. it would just leave a bad mark if you wanna take it off

    yeah, i wouldnt actually do it. has anyone done it before? obv. except beepop. and beepop do you have pics of it with and without? and after you took it off?

    I also did this.....worked months and than I just had to peel it off.....still looks great....just the bubbles are hard to deal with. But NOTHING can happen
