I made a thread the other day about sending my iPod in for repairs on the home button. Now the product status is saying that they are sending it back and that there was no trouble found. I'm confused... Before I sent it... The home button was not closing things and I was very annoyed with it... I'm slightly pissed right now... it makes me wonder just how thoroughly they test these things. How about other people who have had the home button issue? Did it go this way?

I took mine to the Apple Store and had a new one in less than 10 mins.

If only I had an Apple Store within 100 miles of my place of residence...

It's strange though, I have an email saying that it reached their repair center and that they will email me back again when the repairs are finished. I have no other emails, yet on the repair status page, it says that it is in shipment. I don't get it? I would at least like an email from the guy who tested it saying why it passed when the poor thing is just old and needs a new home button assembly.
