On any iPod touch, is there a way to allow the screen to come on or be in waiting while listening to music. You know like the normal iPods when your listening to music and say you want to turn it up or switch to a different song, and all you have to do is touch the screen and it comes awake? Does these do so, I have a 1st gen. 8gb iPod touch and want to know because I notice it shuts the page down when you listen to music longer than the 2min. lock I set it to? Or is this the way they are, and they always shut the screen down when not in use longer than your 2min lock?

    Thanks, The Crow.

Go to Settings > General > Auto- Lock > Never.

    There you go.

Thanks, but will the main page always stay on if I do so? Or are you just saying to do that if I am listening to music and going somewhere then put it back to the 2-3min range?

    Thanks, The Crow

There's no way for your iPod to stay unlocked for just music without having everything staying unlocked.
