    Hello. iPod Touch noob here

(At least I say it right!)
So I never really paid much attention to synching pre-sn0w so I have some questions to ask.

When I sync iTunes says "Backing up" does this mean my music/video/photos/apps but not cydia apps etc?
If I do sync will I loose all of my 2.97GB of "Other" files?

Also, a little off-topic, what is Apple Killswitch and should I disable it through SBS?

    Thanks in advance.. I hope

    1. Do it as "Set up as new..."

    2. When you sync, you will not lose jb stuff

    3. Apple Killswitch, i think, is only for the iPhone

the killswitch is there so that if apple decides to pull an app from the store for whatever reason...itll delete it of your ipod or iphone. im not sure if it they can do that for the ipot but i disabled mine anyway.

    - When it says backing up. it doesnt actually back up your songs and videos; i think it just backs up your settings;contacts;calenders; etc...i think.. haha

it backs up what is authorized, so if you restore it will rename your iPot and tell it what used to be on there.
