    DFU has to work!
    use a timer or something
are you sure you're doing it right?

power + home for some seconds till after it turns black.

Then release power and hold home till itunes makes a sound and recognizes it

    All while plugged into pc.

Thought that was the way to go into DFU mode, atleast thats how i do it

It's Power + Home button for 10 seconds
then let go of power and keep holding home for 8 seconds..
but usually takes longer for me so i keep holding home until computer makes a sound..

He probably got a restore error or something. Have you tried googling the restore error code?

    no not at all.

i start restoring, everythings fine, it goes into progress bar on the ipod screen.

Only when its near 40-50% progress on my ipod, Itunes tells me its finished restoring already. No error codes at all

Perhaps it's a hardware problem... Take it to an Apple store to have it checked out. Is it still under warranty ?
