Stupid and lazy N00b question

    I am getting ready to JB my iPod touch 2g and wondering which method will allow me to access iTunes store? will both methonds (teathered and unteathered) will let me connect to the store and download new content?

    Both will do.

    It doesn't affect the iTunes Store at all.

    first, let me define tethered and untethered.

    Tethered: You are required to connect to the computer everytime you turn your iPod on.

    Untethered: You can turn your iPod on and off anytime you want.


    I suggest you use Redsn0w 0.3 to jailbreak. By far, it is the best that I know of. This would be the untethered method of jailbreaking.

    And yes, you can access the iTunes Store after a jailbreak.
