You have to search for that network in the wifi settings, but you need the password so it is kind of useless.

Next time use the edit button.

In your wifi settings you slect "Other..." and then put in the SSID of the hidden network. However since you don't know the SSID, that might be a bit of a problem.
Then once connected you have to either hope that it gives out a DHCP assignment, or guess really well as to the network settings. Oh, you'll also have to hope that it's isn't doing MAC address filtering.

    good luck

yeah, thats my problem. i mean i know its there, just dont kno the ssid. (which is a pain).

basically, it makes stumbler uselesss b/c it shows open networks but doenst show SSID which is the only way to connect to the network.

or is it? does any1 know if theres any way to find the network w/o the ssid in wifi settings?

I agree with you. I tried out Stumbler, found a bunch of open and hidden networks, I'm like "great, let me try this"...then: "wait, there's no 'connect' button". After trying a bit more I deleted Stumbler as being pretty much useless to me.

Im not sure how he did it but my friend brought in his laptop to school and found out my schools network.
and it was hidden with no password, and now we have internet access all over the school.
