I recently jailbroke my 4.0 ipod touch 2g and used aptbackup to restore my apps. But now I am stuck in safe mode. Does anyone know what app is causing the problem? Thanks

    i had this problem before:
I would suggest to restor + rejailbreak. I'm waiting for something other than redsn0w. I heard Dinozambas was patching his own firmware to be released soon with snowbreeze.

Of course we can tell what app is giving you problems. Just give us the list.

    Do you have Winterboard?

Yes but I thought it was updated to kinda work with 4.0. Anyone know a solution besides waiting for a new/updated tool?

Yeah i did the same thing. Backed up my ipod touch 2g running 3.1.3 in aptbackup, backed it up on iTunes, then upgraded. When it was done, I used redsn0w to re-jailbreak and installed aptbackup where I clicked restore, and am now stuck in an endless loop of safe mode and restarting. Ahhh... what to do, what to do....

Probably something else you installed. Somebody told you to make a list. That is a good idea. Why not do that?
