Ok so here's my story: Jailbroken with spirit, i wanted to unjailbreak it because i had a hunch that it was draining my battery life (i'm crazy like that sometimes) and so i reset it from the system menu on my ipod. When it boots up now, it stays on the apple logo with a spiral in the center that loads up fully, the screen goes white for a sec, goes black, comes back to the apple logo and starts all over again. if i take out the power, it says battery down and shuts off. i tried the dfu thing (holding power+home for 10+8 seconds) but no luck. any help?

Does your computer or iTunes recognize it's plugged in?

go into dfu mode, it must be plugged in for it to work

try recovery mode if you cant get to dfu, but it will work eventually, look up how-to get into dfu mode, then shift-restore to 4.0 or 3.1.3
