I've tried about 3 times now...jailbroken sucessfully, SSH into the ipod touch. Replaced the mobile file we arent suppose to talk about. Set permissions correctly. I then tried to reboot and the Ipod touch hangs on the apple logo indefinitely. What am I doing wrong. Also cracked apps not recognized properly?

Don't Jailbreak for the c word apps.

Surely you have learnt that THAT's what is causing the Apple logo hang? Stop doing that and you'll have a nice jailbroken 2.1 iPod with themes, emulators etc.

Your last resort is to get all your valuable data off the pod and restore, then jailbreak.

The problem is because your using a 2.0.1 or 2.0.2 version of mobile install... Go download the 2.1 version and use it.

(I did the same think on my friends iPod not even 12 hours ago.)
