This is ridiculous, Rename II kept crashing so I went to reinstall it. Once I did that, I rebooted and bam it doesn't pass the Apple logo.

Please, PLEASE I don't want to restore, is there some other way???

Ouch... If you can't SSH into it, my last recommendation is a restore.

You like to get yourself into these kinds of messes don't you?

lol I rebooted about 15 times and entered DFU twice, then it finally, to my amazement, turned on. Then I opened Cydia and it froze on Loading data then turned off again (DAMN IT!!!). Had to do it another 15 and yeh it's running pretty unstable right now and music sounds a bit distorted but a good old boot into Safe Mode will fix it

How do you go from DFU to working without restore? I think you did DFU incorrect.

No, just to a hard reboot to exit DFU
