After using spirit since release day, my iPod has stopped booting

Anyone else have an issue like this or is my iPod just being dumb?

Have you tried putting it in recovery mode forcibly then hard-rebooting it? That helped once when I was stuck on the boot logo. I don't know how it did it, but it did. I guess it's worth a shot.

Yeah, I'm in DFU recovering now, but I connected it when it had the apple logo and opened spirit just to see if it would detect if a iPod was connected, and it said iPod Touch 3g 4.0 not supported.

I was on 3.1.3, I think something went screwy. No idea what.

don't open spirit when restoring. Do the whole restore and then try and jailbreak.

When spirit was jailbreaking, did you click quit as soon as spirit said it's done, or did you wait?

I'm pretty sure you need to wait, lol.

It has to do with a package cydia/rock put out that kills your sbin and destroys your iPod. This had nothing to do with jailbreaking. As stated in the first post, I jailbroke my ipod with spirit about a week before this happened.

    Problem already fixed though.

I have this problem and still can't fix it. I jailbroke it a few days ago and installed Iconoclasm. After changing it to the setup I wanted, I restarted my springboard and the apple logo appeared.
Now. What's wrong with it is this:
    1) It won't boot.
    2) Only the apple logo appears.
    3) A plain apple logo appears for 5 minutes, then a loading circle appears on top of it and freezes up. It then restarts and repeats.
    4) I tried putting it in DFU and connecting it, but that won't work.

I'm afraid to send it to apple because if they find out I jailbroke it, I'll be screwed. Any help? I'm desperate.
